After a zombie epidemic, the world is a dangerous place to be for the thus far uninfected. One such survivor is Julie, who after being saved from a potentially deadly attack, is shocked to find her rescuer R is actually a zombie himself. However, he seems to be different from the others; more cultured and less bitey. As a strange romance begins to blossom between them, Julie notices R is becoming more human; could she have stumbled on the cure that will not only save her new boyfriend but the whole of mankind?
