A jewel heist appears to be the work of a mysterious group called the Byakuya Gang, known for stealing from the rich to give to the poor.

The police ramp up their efforts to catch the Byakuya Gang. Though some see the thieves as heroes, Boruto can't accept their actions.

With backing from Byakuya, anticapitalist protests fill the streets. Ryogi thinks back to the fateful day when he joined the gang.

The protests against the Kaminarimon Company have taken on a life of their own, and the ninja teams are sent out to keep the crowds under control.

While the streets are full of protestors, the Byakuya Gang breaks into the research center developing cutting-edge ninja tools.

Iwabe, Denki and Metal are asked to appear in a documentary to bring good publicity and more students to the ninja academy.

Team 15 are assigned the task of retrieving some animals that escaped from a park, but Namida and Wasabi get into a fight.

Konohamaru, Shino, Moegi and Udon wonder if their students are ready to take the upcoming Chunin exams.

It's Boruto's birthday, but he's upset that he can't spend it with his father. Then Team 7 is sent out to stop a gang of thieves.

While searching the abandoned mine, Team 7 is suddenly attacked by a powerful White Zetsu. Boruto and his team decide to investigate further.

In the first round of one-on-one battles, Boruto goes up against the bubblegum-chewing Yurui, while Shikadai faces Yodo.

While her friends look on, Chocho takes on Shinki, who seems far too calm and sure of himself to be just a genin.

Next up are two battles featuring Hidden Leaf and Hidden Sand genin. Though Sarada struggles against Araya, Mitsuki and Shinki seem evenly matched.

The final round is a three-way battle between Boruto, Sarada and Shinki. The two Hidden Leaf genin team up against Shinki.

Members of the Otsutsuki Clan suddenly appear in the tournament arena and start attacking spectators and participants.

Naruto disappears while protecting people from the attack. Sasuke senses that Boruto has grown from his awful experience, and gives him a new task.

While Sasuke and the Kage take on the powerful Momoshiki and Kinshiki, Boruto is finally able to see his father again.

Momoshiki is even more powerful than before, but Naruto and Sasuke have experience fighting the Otsutsuki.

The ninja guarding the entrance to Hidden Leaf are suddenly attacked. Boruto and Sarada go to Mitsuki's home, but he's nowhere to be found.

Boruto and Sarada sneak out of Hidden Leaf to search for Mitsuki. They head for Orochimaru's lab to see if they can find any clues.

Team 10 tries to bring Boruto and Sarada back to Hidden Leaf, but the two of them are determined to find Mitsuki.

Boruto and the others head for Ryuchi Cave, but it seems impossible to find. When they finally arrive, it's not what they were expecting.

Sarada, Boruto and the others go further into the cave to find the snake known as Garaga.

Though Boruto and the others do everything they can to get Garaga's Reverse Scale, the snake is far too powerful.

When they hear that Mitsuki is being brought to the village of Hidden Stone, Boruto and the others decide to head there too.

Though Kokuyo easily overpowers them, Boruto and the others fight back hard: if they can get past him, they can see Mitsuki again.

Sekiei becomes ill, and Kokuyo leaves to get help. Sekiei seems really interested in humans, and asks Mitsuki to tell him more about them.

Barely conscious after Mitsuki's attack, Boruto falls into a dream. Meanwhile, Sarada and Shikadai consider giving up their mission and heading home.

Hoping to meet with Ohnoki, the former Tsuchikage, Boruto and his team set out for the Hidden Stone Village. Inojin stays behind with his new friend.

After receiving a less-than-warm welcome from Ohnoki, Boruto and his team learn of the old Tsuchikage’s plans regarding Mitsuki. Ku initiates a brawl.

Boruto and Ohnoki make their way to the rendezvous point but stumble into the Hidden Stone Village's training grounds — and there’s only one way out.

When birds begin attacking a village on the outskirts of the Land of Fire, Boruto and his companions head out with Team 15 to investigate the cause.

Konohamaru steps in to help his students fend off a powerful Jugo. As the monster’s curse begins to recede, Team 7 chases him down for an explanation.

Boruto continues to assist Jugo with the infected birds. However, Jugo’s work to rid the birds of their curse begins to take its toll on his body.

While searching for Namida and Wasabi, Sumire runs into the two remaining members of Sasuke's old team. The pair reveal their plans to rescue Jugo.

Sumire and her companions work together to fend off an enemy transformed by a Curse Mark. Meanwhile, Sarada and Karin struggle to defeat Sasami.

Mirai and the group spend the night in a spooky old inn. While Tenten believes Guy’s claim of seeing a ghost, Mirai is adamant that they don’t exist.

Tatsumi and Mirai’s group arrive at a town only to find its hot spring filled in by a boulder. Luckily, a powerful student of Mirai's father drops by.

Moved by Tatsumi's wish to reunite with her deceased mother, Mirai decides to put her own mission aside and escort her friend on her journey.

In a bid to protect Asaki, Boruto takes on Kankitsu alone. Failing to dodge one of Kankitsu’s attacks, Boruto gradually begins to lose his memory.

Konohamaru and Boruto set out to rescue Remon. But when they arrive too late, Konohamaru must act fast to seal away a powerful demon spirit.

Boruto sneaks off to the Land of Wind to train with Sasuke. But when he misses his train stop, he becomes stranded in the country's harsh desert.

Gaara uses all his chakra to seal Otsutsuki Clan member Urashiki. In order to protect Shukaku, Gaara tasks Boruto with taking the One Tail to Naruto.

Urashiki reappears and drains Mirai of her chakra. As the village leaders discuss their plan of attack, Boruto bursts in and demands to be included.

After falling into a wormhole, Sasuke and Boruto discover they have been flung back in time to when Naruto was still a child training under Jiraiya.

Naruto begins showing Boruto around the village, introducing him to the younger versions of his family and friends, including his late uncle Neji.

Urashiki captures Naruto in order to drain the chakra of Nine Tails. Trapped under a rock dome, a suspicious Jiraiya presses Sasuke for answers.

Boruto and the young Naruto train to synchronize their chakra, which isn't as easy as they thought it would be.

While taking a break from their training, Boruto decides to ask the young Naruto about Sasuke.

Though Boruto, Jiraiya and the young Naruto put up a good fight, Urashiki seems able to see all of their moves before they make them.

Things aren’t over yet. Urashiki suddenly gets back on his feet, more powerful than ever.

It’s time for Boruto to part ways with the young Naruto. Before Boruto and Sasuke return to their time, Jiraiya asks Sasuke to do something.

Sumire is finally assigned to the Scientific Ninja Tools Team and Team 15 welcomes a new member, but she’s a samurai who looks down on ninja.

Boruto tries to secretly find out what his grandfather would like for his birthday.

When Enko Onikuma struggles to control her powers, Ibiki Morino disbands Team 40 and decides to train Enko personally.

Inojin asks his parents to teach him how to master the Mind Body Switch technique, which his mother can do very well.

Boruto and Mitsuki go undercover in the notorious prison Hozuki Castle, where they must protect an inmate from assassination.

To obtain information he can leverage against Benga, Boruto approaches a powerful inmate named Doragu.

The whole prison is put on lockdown while the guards search every cell for the missing tag. Mitsuki deduces that the thief could be in their cell.

Boruto and Mitsuki can’t shake the feeling that Kokuri is hiding something from them. Meanwhile, a Mujina lieutenant schemes to get Kokuri transferred.

Kokuri is scheduled to be transferred to another prison, so Boruto and Mitsuki move ahead with their plan to break him out of Hozuki.

Despite not getting the all-clear from Sarada, Boruto decides to stick with the carefully laid escape plan.

While waiting for their getaway boat, Boruto and the others are attacked by Tsukiyo, a powerful member of the Mujina Bandits.

The Mujina Bandits haven’t made a move in a few months, and Boruto worries that they’re up to something. A daimyo's son, Tento, visits Hidden Leaf.

Tento asks Boruto to teach him ninja skills. Boruto's annoyed at first, but then Tento tells him why he wants to be a shinobi.

Boruto is excited to finally be assigned a B-rank mission, but before he can begin his new assignment, he finds out that Tento has been kidnapped.

While rescuing Tento, Boruto comes face to face with the leader of the Mujina Bandits, Shojoji, who wields the terrifying Corpse Clone technique.

When Sarada is chosen to represent Team 7 in a medical ninjutsu seminar, she worries that she won’t be able to live up to everyone’s expectations.

Dissatisfied with her team’s mission performance, Tsubaki comes up with a plan to improve the individual abilities of everyone in Team 15.

For fun, Himawari participates in a one-day trial session at the Ninja Academy but her reason for joining rubs Ehou Norimaki the wrong way.

One rainy night, Mitsuki tends to an injured man in an alley. Later, Team 7 is assigned to protect a company president from a serial killer.

Cho-Cho heads into town with Choji for some sweets but is angry to learn that red bean desserts are off the menu due to a series of bandit raids.

While following a lead on Kara’s location, Sasuke and Sai investigate an underground waterway, where they soon encounter an aggressive young man.

Tasked with finding a missing person, Team 7 heads to the distant Land of Valleys. Familiar with the terrain, Mugino joins the mission as a guide.

Boruto and his friends' efforts to bring Anato back to his senses prove futile as Victor intervenes. Later, Mitsuki starts to lose feeling in his arm.

After learning that information on the Hashirama Cell can be found on the black market, Boruto and the others arrive in the lawless Land of Silence.

The butler guides Boruto and Konohamaru to Fushu Castle, where the wealthy owner of the Hashirama Cell resides. But another group wants the cell too.

Accused of murder and robbery, Boruto and his friends are pursued by an angry mob that thwarts their efforts to escape at almost every turn.

Boruto and his group learn that the ninjas they're tracking are from the Land of Haze. However, a suspicious man soon blocks their path forward.

Boruto and the others are sealed inside a barrier along with a powerful monster. Boruto insists that they defeat the creature, but Mugino disagrees.

As another quadruplet prevents Boruto's group from going after his brother, Boruto is shocked by the man's apparent disregard for his own life.

After Boruto and Hiruga's group reaches Asaka, Deepa attacks. Not only does Deepa seem impervious to damage, but an unexpected ally also joins him.

The seriously injured Boruto and Sarada are rushed back to Hidden Leaf. Naruto decides to investigate Victor's purpose for the Hashirama Cell.

Boruto and Sarada start training right away. Kakashi teaches Boruto to strengthen his Rasengan while Sasuke guides Sarada to master her Sharingan.

Team 10 goes on a mission to team up with Shinki's group and retrieve a puppet in the Land of Wind, where they encounter a serious threat.

Shikadai visits Boruto and decides to help him with his training. Sarada complains that Sakura's overprotectiveness is stifling her progress.

A boy at the hospital asks Iwabe and his friends for help getting Orochimaru's autograph. The group agrees after hearing about the boy's situation.

A daimyo and his retinue arrive at Victor's research facility for an inspection. Meanwhile, Boruto and Sarada report to Mia about Anato's fate.

While Mugino hurries back to Hidden Leaf with the daimyo, Konohamaru tries to stop the chakra-leeching tree. Boruto and Sarada arrive to assist him.

Konohamaru struggles against Victor and his self-regenerating technique. Boruto and Sarada try to take down Deepa with their improved skills.

After learning that Kara may have already infiltrated the Shinobi nations, Naruto wrestles with the decision to restrict access to the village.

The Barrier Team tests a new sensing system to monitor access to the village. Inojin participates in the trial but fails to live up to expectations.

Arriving at the research facility, Team 7 reunites with an old friend. Boruto has a change of heart after helping test some scientific ninja tools.

While searching for Konohamaru and Mugino, Boruto and his group encounter mysterious, hostile puppets. Later, a surprising adversary confronts them.

After escaping the cave, Boruto's group struggles to come to terms with Ao's betrayal and the loss of a friend. Katasuke makes a shocking confession.

The battle between Team 7 and Ao begins. While Ao fights with scientific ninja tools, Boruto and his friends rely on their shinobi techniques.

A man introducing himself as Koji Kashin appears before Boruto's group. As Konohamaru duels with the enemy, Boruto's seal undergoes a transformation.

Kara Inner member Delta heads to the Land of Fire to observe the Vessel. Boruto's group finds an unconscious boy who has a familiar mark on his palm.

Kawaki, the boy known as the Vessel, fights Garo. During the battle, Kawaki's Karma reacts, triggering a change in Boruto's seal as well.

Naruto decides to learn more about Kara from Konohamaru. Confined within the research facility, an angry Kawaki tries to find a way to escape.

Having escaped from the facility with serious injuries, Kawaki searches for food in the downtown area. Concerned for his health, Sumire follows him.

An unconscious Kawaki dreams about his past, the hardships he suffered at the hands of his father as a child, and the man who changed his life.

At the Five Kage Summit, the Kages decide that Kawaki should be kept under Naruto's supervision. Kawaki is still cautious and hesitates to open up.

The Uzumaki household welcomes Kawaki as part of their family. Though Boruto initially butts heads with him, the two bond over their mysterious Karma.

As Naruto guides him around the village, Kawaki finds it difficult to get used to normality. They visit the Yamanaka flower shop run by Ino.

Kawaki watches Naruto and Boruto's sparring match. Boruto struggles to land a blow until Kawaki offers some advice on how to make use of his Karma.

Having grown tired of waiting for Koji to return, Delta decides to search for Kawaki. Meanwhile, Kawaki teaches Boruto how to harness his Karma.

Naruto enters into his Nine-Tails Chakra Mode to fight against Delta, who proves to be a serious threat with her scientific ninja tool-augmented body.

Enraged by Delta's underhanded fighting style, Naruto lets loose with a massive Rasengan attack, despite her ability to absorb any technique.

Naruto imbues one of his prosthetic hands with his chakra and gives it Kawaki. Later, Kawaki decides to learn ninjutsu and asks Naruto for guidance.

Kurama tells Kawaki about Naruto's childhood and the reason for his strength. Moved to tears, Kawaki wonders if he can ever become like him.

After managing to infiltrate Kara's base, Sasuke makes some surprising discoveries. Meanwhile, Boro, an Inner for Kara, preaches to his devout cult.

While at the Uzumaki home, Kawaki's Karma suddenly activates and transforms into a portal. To his shock, Jigen emerges from the mass of chakra.

The village goes on high alert after Naruto's disappearance. Naruto and Sasuke team up to take down Jigen but struggle against his perplexing power.

With Naruto missing and unable to rule out the possibility that Kawaki is a Kara spy, Shikamaru decides to place Kawaki under house arrest.
