Pumpkin Everything

Amy Fox left her hometown of Autumnsboro, New Hampshire to chase her dream of becoming a novelist. She did so even when Tom Adams, her grandfather who loved her dearly, was not supportive. Years later, Amy is about to launch a book tour inthe fall for her third novel, and she's an up-and-coming author well on her way to success. Her plans are thrown off course when she learns that Tom has broken his wrist. His age is catching up with him, and he's not ready to give up Pumpkin Everything, the home furnishings and decor store in Autumnsboro that is especially popular during the fall season. It is also Tom's dream that Amy would have stayed in town and taken over his business. Finding creative ways to revamp her book-tour duties, Amy tries to convince Tom to move into retirement and better take care of himself. The only problem is that she has to deal with Kit Parker, a best friend from high school who almost became something more. Kit has faced hard times in life and has gotten back on his feet thanks to Tom hiring him as a store manager. Now Amy must confront her troubled past with her grandfather and the one with Kit that was never resolved. As the annual fall festivities in town approach, Tom learns to take responsibility for never supporting his granddaughter the way he should have years ago, all the while making changes in life that are hard to make. Kit and Amy rekindle their attraction for each other, and Amy finds a way to put to rest the ghosts of her past while launching a successful book tour. Better yet, she rebuilds the loving friendship with her grandfather who is quickly becoming her number one fan. Based on the book by Beth Labonte.
