Holiday for Heroes

After a year's worth of letters exchanged with soldier Matt Evans, a member of her brother's company overseas, Audrey Brown is met with a Christmas surprise: Matt arriving in her hometown, right in her coffee shop. Just as their worldscollide for the first time off the page, Audrey gets the disappointing news that her brother, her only family, won't be home for Christmas. His entire Army Company's deployment has been extended and now 200 families in her small town that neighbors a military base will be affected. With this news the town loses a bit of heart and Christmas spirit - letdown, the town council cancels one of the most beloved Christmas traditions, the Holiday for Heroes party. A celebration of the troops and all they do would not be the same without those brave soldiers there. Audrey, crestfallen at this news, reaches to make things right. If the soldiers can't be home for Christmas, why not send Christmas to them? She rallies the community, with the help of Matt and his holiday spirit, to send care packages to the troops - the same kind of care package that first connected Matt to Audrey. But the care packages are not enough for Audrey. Even with their soldiers far away, there are still heroes in town to celebrate and the season would not be complete without Holiday for Heroes. Audrey takes it upon herself to plan the party. With Matt by her side lending a hand, the two grow closer, learningmore about what they knew and discovering new things about one another. The excitement for the celebration transforms the town and after a near disaster in their loss of venue, Audrey decides to hold Holiday for Heroes in her special family barn, opening it to her community for the very first time. Growing close, and with many decisions on the line, Matt and Audrey face a difficult question. Can their love can only exist in letters or if this is something that could be real? Matt and Audrey discover that their dreams can work as one, and that they can continue celebrating Christmas year round. With Holiday for Heroes in full swing, the spirit of the season reaches new heights as the troops, in a stroke of holiday magic, return just in time for Christmas.
