Natun Jiban is a social drama about a rich spoilboy, Nirmal, who gradually understands the value of life. Aruna falls in love with Bijoy, but her father and brother are against it. Nirmal is a pampered boy who lives on his father's money, but loses it after his father's death. He eventually learns to live together as a close family and share sorrow and happiness, not in money. The story ends happily with Nirmal marrying Parul and living happily with everyone.
