Mon is a social comedy that tells the funny love triangle between friends. The story begins with Jeet’s family shifting into the same town as Radha lives, as their parents were childhood friends. Radha and Jeet become good friends and later, Jeet falls in love with Radha. Then Joy enters their lives, a handsome foreigner to whom Radha becomes close to, making Jeet angry and jealous and creates a rift between them. Joy’s grandmother asks Joy to marry Radha, but before he can do so, Jeet meets with an accident which makes Radha realize her true love for him. In a turn of events, Joy decides to go back and he finds his grandmother’s letter which tells him of his childhood friend Shujata (Suzie) who loves him and is waiting for him. The story ends with Radha and Jeet finding their true love for each other and Joy and Shujata finding love through their friendship. It is a complicated love story and ends on a happy note.
