Laadla Number One' is the story of a carefree rich boy Rishi whose life undergoes a change. Rishi's dad asks him to join their family business. But, Rishi isn't interested in business and so he runs away from home. He goes to Siliguri and starts working as a auto driver for Durga Devi. He falls in love with Durga Devi's daughter Jia. But, Masala is after Durga Devi's property and Jia. Rishi's dad finds him in Siliguri but is proud to see that he has worked hard and become independent. Masala tells Durga Devi about Jia and Rishi's affair. She decides to get Jia and Masala married. But Masala's real intentions are exposed and Rishi saves Durga Devi from Masala. The lovers are united.
