Rupasi is a social drama which tells the story of a naughty village girl, Rupasi, and her transformation into an ideal bride for her love, Balaram. Balaram lives with his famer grandfather and brothers and sisters-in-law. Though belonging to a farmer’s family, Balaram had no interest in farming and was a talented music composer of his village. But once he was defeated by Rupasi, the most undisciplined and pampered rich girl of the village. Noticing her talents, Balaram falls in love with her and they try to convince his grandfather for their marriage, who couldn’t tolerate Rupasi for her mischievous activities. Finally with the help of Rupasi, Balaram works on his land and grows fine crops. Rupasi manages to impress grandfather and then finally all ends well for both Rupasi and Balaram and they live together happily.
