Phande' is the story of Raju and his friends Rik and Viki. They're village boys who desperately want to love someone and have a love affair. But the girls take advantage of them and dump them all the time. They're left disheartened. A woman named Rajani comes to their village and all three of them try to attract her attention. But, she turns out to be a married woman. Heartbroken Raju goes to the city and starts living with his friend Shibu. He meets a girl Rupsa in the house where they stay as tenants. Raju falls in love with her but Rupsa keeps rejecting his advances. One day Raju saves Rupsa from the local goons and Rupsa falls in love with him and they get married. Shibu and Sahrmi who are their friends also decide to get hitched.
