Moni, only daughter of Bijoy Singha and Rajeshwari loves Nayan, son of Deborasad and brother of Radha. Bijoy Singha and Radha approve of their relationship but Rajeshwari does not. Radha and husband Samar have a stressed relation. Samar is Sailen Prasad’s son. Suddenly Nayan is diagonised with a heart problem which requires an expensive surgery. Deboprasad decides to sell his land but the river’s Bhangan destroys it. Moni, before getting married gives some jewellery to Nayan for his treatment. Rajeshwari gets Nayan arrested. In jail Nayan’s surgery is done free of cost. Moni comes back after her husband’s death and their love blossom again. When Rajeshwari plans to kill Nayan they jump in the river and die. Radha starts a new life with Samar. Ultimately it is seen that though the river brings Bhangan to land it fails to bring Bhangan in relationships.
