Amar is a professor of chemistry who invents a new kind of mustard oil, which is many times stronger than petrol or kerosene. Poor Amar’s laboratory gets destroyed by thunderstorm but he never stops trying to develop his discovery which has the potential of changing the world. In order to focus more on his passion Amar joins Dr Chowdhury as his Lab assistant. Dr Chowdhury has a young daughter Koyel who falls for Amar. As this couple comes closer Danny, Koyel’s friend gets jealous and he starts planning against Amar. Not only Danny, Chaturvuj also is plotting to against Amar. Chaturvuj is a cunning guy who wants to take away the land where Amar harvests the mustard. He joins hands with an Arabian group and attacks Amar’s house. But the villagers unite against them thus forcing the Arabians to flee. Chaturvuj then seeks the help of the French. The foreigners kidnap Amar and Koyel but in the end they manage to escape safely and the movie ends on a happy note.
