Antarsatta' is the story of love and relationships. Ujan, an introvert befriends Mishti in school. She's the only friend he has in his lonely life besides his mother. They grow up together and eventually, he falls in love with Mishti. But before he can propose to Mishti, Sid proposes to her. Ujan is shattered. Ujan's mother dies in an accident and he's completely broken. Sid and Mishti get married. Ujan leaves for Mumbai to be with his cousin's brother. His brother and his wife discovers his writing talent and nurtures it. He becomes a renowned writer. Years later he comes back to Kolkata, meets Mishti who's separated from her husband now. But his joys don't last long as Mishti is killed in an accident. Before she dies she leaves her daughter Mishtu under his care. Ujan raises Mishtu with care and she grows up to be a doctor. Ujan again becomes alone in life when Mishtu marries and goes away. He waits to meet his long lost love in the other world.
