This Bengali Feature Film centers around a socially conscious author (played by famous actor Soumitra Chattopadhyay) reaching the fag end of his life and creative career. As his last wish, he decides to know the ‘truth’ of the inmates of the brothel and portray that in his story. While depicting his journey, the film unfolds the struggle for existence of the deprived, exploited by the privileged class and how the author gets involved in that class-struggle and continues to champion the causes of the destitute even after the end of his physical existence.
