A tragic story depicting and highlighting the disastrous destiny of the ethnic, eternal Indian woman "Kankabatir Ghat" is about the banks of river Ganga in the village of Atashi from where Sati Kankabati, the great wife of Mr. Mukherji an artist, committed suicide in an eternal ritual fashion to save her ailing and dying husband.
