Vidyadharan is a simple man, from a sleepy hamlet in Palakkad. When a close friend s daughter is gang-raped and murdered, Vidyadharan becomes obsessed about the murdered as he becomes increasingly concerned about his own daughter s wellbeing. In the process, he ends up committing a crime. Spending a long sentence in jail, Vidyadharan s fears about his daughter s safety transform into a psychosis, ultimately leading to almost tragic circumstances.
